Welcome to the Biker's Oasis!   If your here and don't see much content, then your one of my first visitors! Please be patient, as there is lots to come in future days to come! I would like to mention, though my own personal Love in the world of bikes is Harley related, this site will include all bikes, and all bike related items , not just HD items. My dear sweet Husband was a lover of rice burners and tupperware in his younger days, but I think now that we are both getting that lil bit older he has taken a shine to the cruiser and more chopper like look. He also has been a collector of all things Harley, but being from the UK, a plastic bike was easier to keep from rusting, and provided him with the high levels of speed his inner child wanted, LOL! I have never been a fan of speed, and even less so after my 16 yr old sister died in a wreck when I was only 23. So give me a bike I can just take for a lovely outing and enjoy the company of other bike enthusiasts on, without feeling I have to break the sound barrier to keep up. This year I have actually gotten my very first bike, though bikes have most ussually been a constant in my life, I was never the one in control....I don't yet have my Harley.....but dreams like that take time! I at the moment have a Gilera Cougar as my learner bike, my dear sweet husband says this bike is the right size for me to learn all the basics on and not have to feel too intimidated by the size, I sure hope he is right, as I have yet to actually get my provisional and begin! More updates on my adventures in learning to come...so stay tuned I am quite sure knowing myself it should be quite funny reading. ~ DezertBLU ~
